The throw problem

How it works

The underside is covered in small silicone dots, the same idea as the grip on the bottom of gym socks. They hold on the seat without straps or elastic. Inside, a PU layer stops liquid getting through to the cushion. On top, a diamond-quilted polyester surface with a hemmed edge, so it looks like it belongs in the room. Buyers say the same three things: stays put, waterproof, easy to clean.

Yes. There is a PU layer under the quilted top that stops liquid reaching the cushion. To keep it that way, wash at 30, tumble dry low or air dry, no fabric softener, and do not iron. Heat and softener are what ruin waterproof layers, so the care rule matters.

Shake the hair off outside. Machine wash at 30. Tumble dry on low or hang it to dry. No softener, no iron. Then put it back. That is the whole job, instead of daily straightening and lint rolling.
