About Barkstead

Barkstead is a small shop for people who share their home, their sofa and their car with a dog. We started it because the useful things for dog owners are scattered across marketplaces full of copies, and it is hard to tell what is good from what is cheap. So we keep a short list, we test what we sell, and we tell you plainly what it does and what it does not do.

Every product has to solve one real problem, be safe to use without instructions from a professional, and be something we would put on our own dog or our own sofa.

What we promise

Honest delivery times. Our products ship from a partner warehouse abroad. We dispatch within 1 working day and delivery takes 4 to 7 days, tracked. We say so on every page.

Honest reviews. If you see a review on this site, it was written by someone who bought the product. We do not write our own and we do not delete critical ones.

No medical claims. Our products are for everyday life with a dog, they do not treat anything. If your dog is unwell, see your vet.

A real person answers your email, usually within one working day.
